Prepare:
Mix the dry gravy mix with 1 cup of cold water in a saucepan. Whisk until smooth. Heat at medium until the sauce thickens, then add another cup of water and whisk once more until smooth. Then.. nothing! You're done! Serve over potatoes, rice, or whatever floats your boat.

Homemade Taco Seasoning
(makes
about 3 Tablespoons)
Ingredients:

tablespoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
Mix
together all ingredients. Store in an airtight container until ready
to use.
When
you are ready to use use your Homemade Taco Seasoning, use about 2
tablespoons per 1 pound of meat. Feel free to add more or use less, I
just found that to be the sweet spot
Brown
your beef and drain off fat. Sprinkle seasoning evenly over meat and
add 1/3 cup of water. Simmer until water is adsorbed.
